Vim & Vigor is Ottawa’s monthly 50+ Education & Community Show, bringing older adults, families and trusted local professionals together in one welcoming space.

Each event is designed around education and meaningful conversation. Professionals who serve the 50+ community have the opportunity to share their knowledge, answer questions and introduce people to valuable local resources — without the pressure of selling.

For attendees, it’s a comfortable place to explore, ask questions and learn about services and resources that can support healthy, informed and independent living.

Built Through Collaboration

Ideal Caregivers 4u × Community Nursing Registry of Ottawa

Vim & Vigor was created through a collaboration between Ideal Caregivers 4u and the Community Nursing Registry of Ottawa (CNRO), two Ottawa organizations that work closely with older adults, families and the professionals who support them.

Through that work, we saw an opportunity to create something different: a welcoming monthly event where Ottawa’s 50+ community can meet trusted local professionals, ask questions, learn about available resources and have meaningful conversations.

For participating professionals, Vim & Vigor offers an opportunity to share expertise, educate the community and build genuine relationships, without the pressure of selling.

Together, we’re creating a space where education, connection and community come first.

Our goal isn’t to make money from exhibitor fees. Each event has real costs, including the venue, promotion and event essentials and those costs are shared among the participating exhibitors.

The more businesses and professionals who participate, the more the event costs are shared. It’s a straightforward approach designed to keep participation reasonable while allowing us to create a professional, welcoming and well-promoted event for Ottawa’s 50+ community.

    Venue, promotion and event essentials are divided among the participating exhibitors, not marked up for profit.
